On the 19.03 I was meant to be racing my first 70.3 in Lanzarote but unfortunately, on the Tuesday of that week, I tested positive for covid-19. It’s a hard pill to swallow as I had specifically adapted my training for this race and was feeling really fit. I had just ran a 10km PB at the end of february and was coming back from a really good block of training in Fuerteventura. I was looking forward to testing myself against some of the best in the world
Anyways that’s life and for now I just need to think positive and get healthy again. I’ll be back for a 70.3 debut soon!
